Volunteers and Extra Hands

Earth Train has had the pleasure of working with some truly amazing and selfless people over the years. Our interns, volunteers and endlessly supportive circle of family and friends have made a crucial contribution to the overall success of the organization, and we can't thank them enough. Filling an array of positions and working days, nights and weekends in pursuit of our common goals and objectives, they deserve a mention*:

  • Farinoz Daneshpay - Intern, Oct 2008 to Feb 2009; England - Fund raising, group coordinator/GB, website
  • Annie DelIsle - Consultant, Dec 13, 2009 to May 1st, 2010; England - Flawless event organization and management for our January 10th international gala at the Biomuseo, and general management and task support.
  • Chris Del Vecchio - Staff, July, 2009 - January 2011; USA - Director of Education and Outreach
  • Kate Del Vecchio - Volunteer, Sept 21, 2009 to Jan 20, 2010; USA - Creation of Centro Mamoní organic garden and knowledge base for its maintenance
  • Zita Dias - Support, Beginning - Present; Portugal - Constant support in everything from management to cooking and cleaning to policy making
  • Robert Limanek - Volunteer, February 25 to May 25th, 2010; USA - Architecture and creative consulting
  • Lisette Peralta - Staff, 2005 - 2010; Panama - Co-Director of Administration
  • Jamin Price-Horn - Volunteer, USA - Centro Mamoní systems management (Hydroelectric plant, weather stations, more...)
  • Jessie Rubin - Staff, Jan 1 to March 31, 2011; USA - Program Coordinator and Support
  • Kael Shipman - Volunteer, July 25, 2009 to May 1, 2010; USA - Systems management and website
